Internet Law

internetLawInternet law is the application of many different types of traditional law to the realm of the internet.  The following are subcategories included in internet law:

  • Domain Law- cyber squatting, domain disputes, domain theft or “hijacking”, and legal services related to the management of large domain portfolios.
  • Internet Copyright- copyright infringement, misappropriation of images, photo, video, or other content unlawfully stole from or posted on websites.
  • Internet Trademark- when one infringes upon or tries to take advantage of the value of their competitors’ trademarks.
  • Internet false advertising-  false internet advertising by competitors.
