Employment Law

Employment law is the name given to the branch of civil law that covers the laws and regulations governing labor relations and employment issues. Federal Statutes as well as state laws protect employees from discrimination based on age, disability, sex, race, religion, or national origin.
Employment law covers all areas of the employer/employee relationship except for the negotiation process covered by labor law and collective bargaining. Some areas covered under employment law include:
